Welcome to Project SEARCH! I'm a transition teacher who began my career with LCPS as a special education counselor and school social worker in August of 2002.
A little bit about my educational background:
I graduated from the University of Virginia in 1995 with a BA, and received my Masters in Social Work (MSW) in 1997 through Virginia Commonwealth University. Later, I returned to graduate school at George Mason University to earn a second Masters degree, in Special Education (MEd).
About me and my family:
I have three children of my own, ages 20, 16, and 13. I am passionate about working with students with disabilities as they transition to life after high school. I'm looking forward to working with you to help set and achieve your professional and independent living goals!
