Mrs. Waffle

Hello Falcons! My name is Mrs. Waffle and I am so excited to begin my third year as a School-Based Instructional Facilitator here at Forest Grove! I can’t wait to get to know you all and work with the teachers more closely this school year! I have been eagerly awaiting the chance to have ALL of our Falcons here at school!

This will be my 36th year of teaching here in Loudoun County Public Schools. I have taught special education at Sully, Sterling and Countryside Elementary. I have also served students as a Precision Teacher for LCPS, providing reading fluency instruction at the elementary level. Prior to coming to Forest Grove as a SBIF, I served in an administrative role as an Instructional Facilitator for Specialized Reading, working with multiple elementary, middle and high schools in the Sterling area.

A little bit about me – I have been married and living in Sterling, VA for 35 years, and I have two grown children, Emily and Jay. I also have 1 cat – Zorro, and 2 miniature  Australian Shepherds named Mick and Ruby! I love being outdoors, especially near water, as well as taking strolls through vintage and antique stores. I also enjoy scrapbooking and taking photos.

I am so thankful for the opportunities that are here at Forest Grove Elementary and I’m looking forward to helping teachers and students to reach their goals!
