Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Allison Taylor

Hello! My name is Allison Taylor. I have had the pleasure of working at Loudoun County Public Schools since January 2011. I joined Park View High School family in 2019. Prior to PVHS, I was an EL teacher at the elementary and middle school level. As a librarian, I hope to instill a love of reading, learning, and exploring through relationship building, collaboration, and service.

I first caught the "teaching bug" while working for a scholarship foundation which served high-achieving, low-income students from all over the United States. It was during my first summer event with this program when I realized how much I loved working with students and how rewarding it was to help a needy population. A few short months later, I was enrolled in classes at George Washington University to pursue my Masters in Secondary Education, with an endorsement in ESL. Most recently, I completed my second Masters in Education with an endorsement in School Librarianship from Longwood University.

I currently live in Leesburg, VA with my husband and ten year old son.  In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking, music, and traveling. Some of my favorite places I have visited are Ireland, Scotland, Hawaii, and New Zealand.
