Mr. Mohammed is thrilled for the opportunity to be joining the Sterling Middle school family as the 8th-grade dean for the 2019-2020 school year. Mr. Mohammed has spent the last 3 years in Sterling Park as an Instructional Facilitator at nearby Sully Elementary. He began his career as a classroom teacher at Cedar Lane Elementary before leaving to open Discovery Elementary. Mr. Mohammed has spent the last 20+ years in Loudoun County. He attended Farmwell Station Middle, Broad Run High, and was part of the first graduating class at Stone Bridge High School. He earned his B.S. in Psychology, his Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, and attended The Virginia Center for Excellence in Teaching (STEM) Academy all at George Mason Unversity. He later went on to earn his Education Leadership and Administration Certification from George Washinton University. This year will mark Mr. Mohammed's 11th year as an educator in Loudoun. As a product of Loudoun County, Mr. Mohammed is excited for the opportunity to give back to the community that has done so much for him.
