Mrs. Schmidt teaches music and adapted music at Algonkian, Sully, and starting in the fall Meadowland Elementaries. She has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the Crane School of Music, State University College at Potsdam, New York and a Master of Science with concentration in Music Education from Western Connecticut State University, Danbury, Connecticut.

She spent 17 years teaching strings in Fairfax County, moving to Loudoun County in 2008. She has taught strings, adapted music, and general music at Park View HS, Heritage HS, Simpson MS, Sterling MS, and now Algonkian, Sully, and Meadowland.

This upcoming year will be year 3 for me at Algonkian and I am very excited to be a Bobcat again this year!
