My name is Caty Vincent, and I am so excited to be your student's 2nd grade teacher this year! This is my 4th year teaching in Loudoun County, and my 3rd year at Countryside!

I have lived in Loudoun County since I was in 8th grade, having previously moved 10 times within 8 different states! (Go Navy) During these moves, I attended 6 different elementary schools. The impact of all the different teachers I had, was the main reason I wanted to become a teacher myself! I attended Christopher Newport University where I received my Bachelor's in English with a Minor in Child Studies, as well as my Master's of Arts in Teaching. I did my student teaching in Newport News, VA and San Pedro, Belize before coming back to Loudoun to teach full time!

 When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Connor and dog Bodhi, hiking, traveling, and coaching Orangetheory! 

I am so excited for this school year! I strive to have a fun and encouraging classroom, where my students feel safe to take risks with their education! Getting to know my students and their families is incredibly important to me! Do not hesitate to reach out to me here!
