Welcome to First Grade! My name is Shannon McCoy and I am thrilled to be your child's first grade teacher at Countryside Elementary! I have earned my bachelors from Frostburg State University in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I also just recently moved from Maryland to Virginia to be a Countryside Cougar.

I am looking forward to meeting both you and your child. Together we will make your first grader's year a succesful one!
