Ms. Wilt was born and raised in Jefferson County, WV. She is excited to begin her fifth year as a 5th grade teacher, in the amazing galaxy of stars at Frederick Douglass! Ms. Wilt is a 2018 graduate of Shepherd University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. In 2021, she received her Master's of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, also from Shepherd University. Go Rams! 

Ms. Wilt married her high school sweetheart in 2021 and still resides in Jefferson County, WV with her husband, Blake. She and Blake welcomed their first baby (girl) in January 2023. Ms. Wilt is one of four children and has three nieces and one nephew, that she adores so much. She had the dream of being an educator at a very young age and is so glad to have fulfilled her dream. Not only does she love teaching children, she loves learning from them, too; no matter at what age, we learn something new every day. Her two most favorite places to go are Disney World and Ocean City, MD. She is a 4-H leader and lives by the 4-H motto: "To make the best better". Her goal is pass this positivity on to her students. She is eager for the adventure ahead, with her Team Crocs (we are working on a new name :))!
