• Mrs. Schroth extends warm greetings to the students and families of Frederick Douglas Elementary School!

She is eager to get started on a fun-tastic school year, as she launches 2019-2020 at FDES, on the Resource Team teaching special education.

She has been with Loudoun County Schools for fourteen years; ten in special education (as an assistant and teacher) and four years as a PALS reading tutor. Her professional background includes counseling children and their families. She has a master’s degree in psychology and a special education licensure certificate from George Mason University.

She has resided in Leesburg for 22 years with her wonderful family, husband Ed, and three young adult children. During her leisure time, Mrs. Schroth reads avidly, power-walks, and spends peaceful time with family and friends.
