I am so excited for my fourth (and a half) year of teaching at Smart's Mill Middle School!

I started my college career as a student-athlete at Roanoke College in Virginia where I played for the volleyball team. I ended up transferring to Shenandoah University where I finished my BA in Spanish. I studied abroad in Spain, which was the best experience in my life thus far. I was born and raised in the Chicago area and currently reside in Winchester with my husband and four (yes, four) cats!

In my free time, I love to relax with our cats: Nico, Oliver, Walter, and Ember, cook, be outdoors, and to travel.  

I truly look forward to spending the year with each and every student and sharing my love of the Spanish language and culture with everyone. Go Mavericks!
