    Me with my university shirt
Hello to all! For the 2020-2021 I will be teaching mathematics for English language learners. This is my 11th year teaching, and my second year teaching in Loudoun County. I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology from Virginia Tech and my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Secondary Graduate Certificate in International ESOL (K-12) from George Mason University. Outside of school I love to read, play team sports with friends and spend time with my family.  I also have a passion for international education and I enjoy traveling to gain first hand knowledge of diverse cultural experiences.  The classes I will be teaching this year are EL Newcomer Math, Math 6, Foundations of Algebra, and Pre-Algebra.  I love helping students learn and explore through a fun and interactive learning experience!!
