    1. Mr. Ryan Dearman teaches 2 courses at LCHS; Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.  This is his second year at Loudoun County and his twelfth year of teaching overall.  Mr. Dearman graduated from West Virginia University with a B.A. in Mathematics and a M.A. in Secondary Education/Mathematics.  He taught for 4 years at University High School and 5 years at Monongalia County Technical Education Center (MTEC). While at MTEC Mr. Dearman created an Embedded Math curriculum for students taking HVAC, Electrical, Welding, Carpentry, Automotive, and Building Maintenance. Students were awarded the opportunity to earn this embedded math credit while completing their technical course. Mr. Dearman also coached wrestling for eight years at University High School, where he was awarded the 2016 WVSSAC Assistance Coach of the Year.  He lives in Harper's Ferry, WV with his wife Lauren, and sons, Owen and John.  He is looking forward to a great year with the CAPTAIN FAMILY!
