Mrs. Laura Seipp

Hello, Wildcats! My name is Laura Seipp, and I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the wonderful team at Willard as a school counselor for 9th graders with last names Coo-Moo. This is my 1st year as a professional school counselor, and I am beyond excited to work with this amazing group of students to help prepare them for the life ahead of them! As we live in a very diverse area here in Loudoun County, I whoelheartedly believe that each and every student should access opportunities to succeed, no matter their background.

I hold my Master's degree in School Counseling from Capella University and my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from James Madison University. Prior to this year, I was a school counseling intern through LCPS in Sterling, VA, where I gained notable experience to help me feel extremely comfortable and confident in my role.

I love to spend my free time watching Marvel movies with my husband, hiking in Great Falls, and hanging out with my family (and their cute Shiba Inu) on the weekends. In the Fall, you'll likely find us rooting for the Dukes at JMU football games! I also played trumpet in the Marching Royal Dukes, so I love being able to enjoy their incredible performances whenever I'm able to make trips back to Harrisonburg, VA.

I am so excited to meet all of you! Let's have a wonderful year, and #stayWILD!
