Teacher Biography

Mrs. Ramboyong is excited to be returning for her 3rd year at Freedom High School.  Mrs. Ramboyong received her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!!) and Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Prior to becoming a teacher, Mrs. Ramboyong worked as a Research Chemist for the Army, an Analyst in the telecommunications industry, and a Corporate Trainer for billing systems.  Mrs. Ramboyong lives in South Riding with her husband and three children, two of whom attend Virginia Tech and and one is at FHS. In her free time she enjoys swimming, running, and chasing after her puppy.  Mrs. Ramboyong teaches Research Chemistry and AP/DE Chemistry. 

Mrs. Ramboyong’s goal is to share her love of Chemistry with the students in a way that is relatable and relevant to their everyday lives.
