Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Kim Woodward

My name is Kim Woodward and I am thrilled to be returning for my third year at Evergreen Mill Elementary! This is my eighth year as a School Counselor in Loudoun County, and I have also worked as a Spanish teacher.  I received my B.A. from The George Washington University in Anthropology and my Master's in School Counseling from George Mason University.  I have lived in Venezuela, Indonesia and Italy and I love to travel!  When I'm at home I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children (my son and daughter are both in college) and my three cats and golden retriever.  I love sports, especially hockey and soccer.  When I'm not following my favorite teams, I love to read, bake, and spend time outdoors.

I consider it a privilege to work with children and I'm passionate about helping students navigate the wonderful world we share.  I look forward to getting to know each and every student and their amazing families. Please feel free to contact me via email at or by calling the school at (571) 252-2900.
