Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to Third Grade!
Ms. Pisani is honored to be a member of the Cedar Lane family this year! This year will mark her sixth-year teaching third grade in Loudoun County, and she cannot imagine having any other job. Teaching is her passion, and she has dreamed about being a teacher ever since she was in first grade. Ms. Pisani loves helping students reach their full potential and making learning fun and engaging.
While Ms. Pisani is a native New Yorker, she has lived in Loudoun County since she was five years old. Ms. Pisani received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, as well as a Master’s Degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Education from James Madison University. GO DUKES! She also just earned her second Master's Degree in Educational Administration from George Mason University. During Ms. Pisani’s free time, she enjoys reading, watching cooking shows, traveling to Disney World, and spending time with my family and friends.
Third grade is a pivotal year that brings many new challenges for students and lays a firm foundation for future learning. Each child has his or her own strengths, and it is the job of a teacher to find these strengths, and use them to their full advantage within the classroom setting. Ms. Pisani’s goal this year is to foster a safe, nurturing learning environment that allows students to thrive and be successful academically as well as socially.
Families along with teachers play an important role in the education of children. Please feel free to contact Ms. Pisani at any point throughout the school year, and she will be more than happy to set up a time to meet with you or speak on the phone.
Ms. Pisani is looking forward to a fantastic 2019-2020 school year at Cedar Lane. Go Lions!
