Mrs. Buser

Welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Megan Buser, and I have been working for Loudoun County Public Schools for the last 8 years. I long-term-subbed in the county for 2 years while I worked toward my Master's Degree in Elementary Education at Marymount University, and this year marks my 6th official year as a 3rd grade teacher in Loudoun County. I went to James Madison University and received my undergraduate degree in Economics. I was inspired to become a teacher while working in a large group tutoring role while at JMU. I got my first full-time position in the county as a 3rd grade teacher at Forest Grove Elementary, where I taught for 2 years. I am so excited about starting my 4th year as an Evergreen Mill Python!
A little bit about me- I got married to my husband in 2017, and together we live in Leesburg with our two dogs, Maddie and Charlie. Maddie is a golden retriever, and Charlie is a Labrador retriever. We love going on walks and hikes with the pups! I love spending my summer time at the beach, lake, and pool. My family has owned a lake house at Lake Anna for as long as I can remember, and I have always spent most weekends there with my family. My favorite water sport is wake surfing. Things that make me happy include being near any body of water, relaxing and unwinding at home, spending time with family and close friends, and teaching!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns. My email address is I look forward to partnering with you this year!
