Welcome to first grade! My name is Jackie DeGroat and I am so excited to be a part of the first grade team here at Evergreen Mill! I graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

This will be my first year teaching and I can’t wait to get started! I grew up in Loudoun County and graduated from Loudoun Valley High School, so I am thrilled to be teaching in the area I grew up in!

In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and going to baseball games (Go Nats!).
