Newton-Lee Families,

Here we are for another school year and I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the Newton-Lee community as your Assistant Principal. I feel honored and humbled to be welcomed into the ‘family’.  I have already met so many of you!

I graduated from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!), where I received a Master's in Curriculum & Instruction.  I also completed my undergraduate work at VT and received a Bachelor's in Math and English. I earned my license in Educational Administration and Leadership from George Mason University, as well as National Board Certification a few years ago.  

I was born and raised in Gainesville, Virginia along with my three brothers and sister. In my free time I enjoy being outside, watching college football and basketball, reading a good book, traveling the world, and spending time with my husband, my two stepsons Nat and Jack, and my 7 month old son, Tyler. 

I am so proud to be at Newton-Lee, where “Leaders are Grown and Greatness is Found”.  Each day is a gift that allows us a new opportunity to support and grow with one another. I am here to collaborate with each and every member of our community and am looking forward to a fun, successful school year!
