Mrs. Laura Thompson

My name is Laura Thompson, and I am so excited to be at John Champe this year! I received my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Virginia Tech (Go HOKIES!!) and my Master's degree in School Counseling from Marymount University.  I have worked as a School Counselor for over 8 years in both Arlington and Fairfax counties. My favorite part of being a school counselor is helping students with the college application process and getting to know my amazing students:) I am a Northern Virginia native, growing up in Arlington, and then moving to Fairfax and then Loudoun. I am married and have two daughters that both attend Loudoun County Public Schools. I am looking forward to a great year!
