Welcome to the wonderful world of mathematics! Our goal this year is to develop a strong classroom community that promotes student ownership of learning through mathematical risk taking. Together we must exemplify resilience and a growth mindset, believing that ALL students can learn mathematics.

I began teaching in Loudoun County almost 20 years ago where I taught Middle School Math for many years before having my four children. After a long break from full time teaching I was eager to return to the classroom five years ago and join the Harmony team. I hold a bachelor's degree with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Elementary Education NK-8 from Longwood University. I look forward to learning and growing with each of you as we begin our journey of mathematics.

I currently live in Round Hill with my husband, 21 year old son, two daughters, 19 and 17 and youngest son that is 11. I can be found outside on most days working in the yard or enjoy the view from our treehouse.

    Staying Informed

I post my assignments and class announcements through my Schoology classes. Please check there frequently for assignments, announcements, and other important information. Students can find access to their courses through the Schoology app in LCPSGo.

Parents are able to see each of their child's classes, including assignments, calendars, and notices. There is a link to Schoology in Phoenix.

Phoenix is the official grade book for all Loudoun County Public Schools. My grade book will be updated weekly.
