Mr. Hughes has been a teacher since 2007 and has been at John Champe High School since the 2018-2019 school year. His work with students has focused on history, historical writing and analysis. Being an educator has given him the opportunity to work for both public schools and the National Park Service. Working and volunteering in living history programs for student groups connecting our communities with our parks has been a rewarding experience. In 2012, He was also named a fellow with the James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation which gave him the opportunity to focus on research of constitutional studies and American History.He looks forward to a positive and produtive school yeaclassesr in AP U.S. History and DE U.S. History.
