Ms. Daneesha Davis
Hello Round Hill Families,
I am excited to welcome you back to school and serve as your Assistant Principal. The 2022-2023 school year will be my 17th in public education and my tenth in Loudoun County.
Teaching and learning is my main passion, but so is writing! I graduated from Florida A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and worked as a newspaper reporter at the Winchester Star.
I brought my love of writing to Clarke County Public Schools in 2006, where I began my career as an educator teaching third grade.
In 2013, I moved over to Loudoun to teach second and third grades at Middleburg Elementary and then at Newton-Lee Elementary.
I made the leap to administration when I became Elementary Dean at Newton Lee. I served in this position for two years and during that time, I completed a master’s degree in Education Administration from Shenandoah University.
I hail from Florida, so it’s no surprise that I love hot, sunny weather and I’m known for my “ray of sunshine” personality.
"Life is for the living," is my latest motto. I love trying new things and making sure to feed my spirit with positive energy, people, and activities. You can find me hiking with Dash, my black lab, reading, dancing, watching the Food Network, or spending time with friends, just to name a few.
It is my honor to be a Bear and to partner with you and your children on their educational journey.
