Welcome to Second Grade!
Hello my name is Lauren Shipman, and I am going to be your child's 2nd grade teacher this year. I am super excited to begin my teaching career at Countryside Elementary School! I am a product of Loudoun County Public Schools, having moved into the area in 2010 and graduated from Briar Woods High School. I attended East Carolina University in North Carolina where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in Childhood Studies. My philosophy of education is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. It is my desire to create this type of atmosphere for your child.
