    Academies of Loudoun - Specific Scholarships

    The Blair and Mike Pirello Scholarship

      • Student advancing their career at a vocational, technical, or community college
      • Recipient must be a Loudoun County resident and high-school graduate or GED equivalent within the past four years preceding application seeking further education through a vocational trade or apprenticeship. Some emphasis may be placed on financial need. With approval funds received may be used for academic or testing costs, books, and associated trade tools.
      • APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:  Completed general application form; one-page essay sharing “Why trade or vocational school is a good fit for me,” or, “My plans for the future.” FAFSA/1040 required.
      • Completed applications can be turned in to this email scholarships@communityfoundationlf.org by April 11th

    Loudoun Crime Commission Scholarship

      • Senior attending the Monroe Advanced Technical Academy Administration of Justice Program
      • Plans to further education in the Criminal Justice Field
      • Attached Essay: Describe your future goals and interest in the criminal justice field (minimum 250 words)
      • Attached unofficial transcript
      • Completed applications will be submitted to Mrs. Trudel in Student Services Room 2224 or email to Michelle.Trudel@lcps.org
      • Due: Friday April 22nd, 2022

      • Graduating Senior from the Academies of Loudoun
      • 1 award per division (AET, AOS, MATA)
      • Full completed applications are turned into Michelle Trudel in the Student Services office or emailed to Michelle.Trudel@lcps.org

    • The Woman’s Club of Loudoun Scholarship - 1 @ $1,000:

      • Graduating Senior from the Academies of Loudoun enrolled in a MATA Pathway
      • Plans to continue with education
      • Minimum GPA of 3.0
      • Applications must be turned into the student services office at the Academies of Loudoun or emailed to Michelle.Trudel@lcps.org
      • Due: April 1, 2022

    • Perry Winston Scholarship Fund MATA Program Scholarships

      • Graduating Senior from the Academies of Loudoun enrolled in a MATA Pathway that attends Heritage High School, Loudoun County High School, or Tuscarora High School
      • Demonstrate a financial need
      • Submit a completed application to Michelle Trudel in the Student Services Office at the Academies of Loudoun
      • Include a recommendation letter from your MATA Pathway Teacher
      • Due: April 1, 2022

    LCPS County Wide Scholarships

    LCPS, Leesburg Garden Club Scholarship: $1,000

    • Graduating Senior pursuing a degree in Environmental Biology, Horticulture, Environmental Studies, Conservation, or related area of study
    • Financial Need
    • Applicants must submit a minimum one-page double spaced letter expressing dedication to degree pursued
    • 2.9 GPA or higher
    • One letter of recommendation
    • Transcript
    • Completed application package must be postmarked by April 1, 2022 and mailed directly to:
