Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Seneca Sowers

Welcome to Math Class!  My name is Seneca Sowers, and this is my fourth year teaching at Woodgrove High School.  I spent my first 6 years teaching grades 8-12 at Clarke County High School in Berryville, Virginia.  I was also the Head Varsity Volleyball coach and an Assistant Track and Field coach for 5 years. I graduated from West Virginia University in 2012 (Lets Go Mountaineers!) with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education.  Joining the Wolverine community has been a wonderful experience, and I look forward to working through year 3 at WHS.  I am teaching Calculus and Algebra 1 this year.

I was born and raised in Winchester, Virginia, and teaching is the family business.  My Dad was a teacher, coach, and athletic director and my brother is currently an AP.  I live in Winchester with my husband, Nate, and our two kids, Ada and Tate.  We love hiking and soaking up time in the outdoors, watching sports, and spending time with our families!
