If you are excited about joining a competitive robotics team, and would like to hone your science, engineering, mathematics, coding, and teamwork skills, make sure you attend today during lunch to learn more information and to join!

We will plan for our first stargazing event on Friday, October 13 and explain how to safely view the partial solar eclipse on Saturday, October 14. Come if you are interested in learning more about astronomy and astrophysics.  event so don't miss out!

    • The Governor’s Schools are month-long, residential summer programs offered in a variety of special interest areas for rising juniors and seniors in Virginia. There will be a special lunch-time presentation on Thursday, September 28th (12:25-1:10pm) and Friday, September 29th (1:00-1:45pm) in Auditorium B.

     

    • Get ready for our school wide Pink Out on October 18th and 19th. The school store is now selling Pink Out T-shirts and Sweatshirts. We sold out last year, so hurry and get yours while supplies last!

     

    • There are limited copies of this year's One Book One Community selection "It happened on Saturday" in the Research Library. Written by a former LCPS teacher this middle grade novel was chosen for its relevancy and link to Loudoun County. Digital copies are through the public library's Libby app.

     

    • The Yearbook Club will kickoff our first meeting today during lunch. We will meet from 1:15 - 1:45 in Room 2314. If you have a passion for photography, videography, graphic design and animation, or creative writing, come join the staff as we seek to capture all that is unique and special here at the Academies of Loudoun in our yearbook.
