Professional Biography WRIGHT, SUZANNE
Department SCIENCEBio - I have been teaching science for 29 years and am starting my 15th year here in Loudoun County. I have taught Biology, Earth Science, Oceanography and Physical Science for Fairfax County, Virginia Beach City Public Schools and Jacksonville, Florida Public Schools. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany and Plant Pathology from Purdue University and my teaching license from Virginia Wesleyan University. After completing a field study in Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons, I earned my Masters Degree in Geosciences. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a plant virologist at Purdue University working in the field of Tobacco Mosaic Viruses. I have been married for 42 years and have four wonderful children, one grandson and one granddaughter. This will be my last year teaching and am planning on retiring to Lake Norman in North Carolina.
