Computer Math & AP Computer Science Teacher

    This is Myriam Gold's thirteenth year at Heritage High School teaching Computer Math and AP Computer Science.  In Computer Math ( Intro to Computer Science),  students learn to program in Java.   In AP Computer Science, the students further their understanding of Java and are encouraged to take the AP Computer Science test in May. All classes are held in room 400.
    Previously,  Mrs Gold worked at Park View High School.   There she taught Algebra I, part I and part II.   She earned her Bachelor of Arts at Hunter College of the City University of New York in Computer Science.  Mrs. Gold has a minor in Mathematics. Prior to coming to Virginia, Mrs Gold worked as senior system's analyst in NYC and upstate New York.
    Mrs. Gold is a native of Guayaquil, Ecuador and is fluent in Spanish.  She is married and has two daughters. Both daughers graduated from Heritage High School.  She enjoys teaching and is delighted to be working at Heritage High School once again.    She is looking forward to a successful 2018/2019 school year!
