My name is Lee MacMillan, and I am excited to be a part of the Seneca Ridge family! I grew up in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon, where I attended Portland State University for my undergraduate degree and Lewis & Clark College for my Masters in Education. I have taught a variety of disciplines including English, Speech and Drama, and Gifted and Talented. Additionally, I taught and managed the Swing-Shift Options School, an alternative program for at-risk middle school students.
My role here at Seneca Ridge is twofold. I am currently the Level Up coordinator, an afterschool STEM program for sixth and seventh grade students who attended the Edge program at their elementary school. I also run the STEM Lab, where students can investigate a specific technology or technology-related concept, such as robotics, coding, or 3-D printing, throughout the school year.
