Catie Cote earned her Bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Arizona. She then worked as a DNA analyst for the Arizona Department of Public Safety for over seven years. After relocating to Virginia, Catie decided to go back to school to pursue her dream of teaching. She taught English in Prince William County and Loudoun County for five years before completing her school librarianship endorsement through Longwood University and coming home to John Champe High School!

Catie is an avid reader and loves to stay up to date with all of the latest books. She is also a mother of two daughters who attend school in Loudoun County.
