Hello Timberwolves!!!

This is my 9th year with Loudoun County Public Schools and my 2nd year at Trailside Middle School! I am the instructional specialist for 7th grade Social Studies and Science, as well as the School Within a School Program (SWS). I hold a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Elementary Studies from Western Governors University. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Special Education from George Mason University. My background in education is extensive with special populations of students.

I am the proud mother of sweet 20-month old boy named Brooks. He is simply amazing in everyway. Besides spending time with family and my son, when I do have extra time, I love to go to Redskins games, the beach, or travel anywhere. My travel bucket list includes the "7 Wonders of the World." I created my own list and have been to 4 out of the 7

In this life there isn't anything else I would rather do than teach. I truly enjoy developing lasting relationships with students and becoming a positive influence in their life. My goal is to be an advocate for those students who need it. Watching students make progress, grow and develop is what I enjoy the most.

Please feel free to contact me at any time, with questions or concerns! I hope everyone has a wonderful 2019-2020 school year!
