Mrs. Lovett

Hello Timberwolves!

This is my 11th year with Loudoun County Public Schools and my 3rd year at Trailside Middle School! I am the instructional specialist for, 6th-grade History, 7th grade Science, 8th grade Science as well as the School Within a School Program (SWS). I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Governors University. I have my Special Education Licensure from George Mason University and am currently at the University of Phoenix to get my Masters Degree. My background in education is extensive with students that have exceptional needs, ranging from ages Pre-K to Middle School-aged students.

I am the proud mother of a sweet and energetic 3.5-year-old son named Brooks and expecting another little one in February 2022. Besides spending time with family and my son, when I do have extra time, I love to go Kayaking, Hiking, and going to the beach, while practicing social distancing. My travel bucket list includes the "7 Wonders of the World." I created my own list and have been to 4 out of the 7 and cannot wait to start planning for next year!

In this life, there isn't anything else I would rather do than teach. I truly enjoy developing lasting relationships with students and becoming a positive influence in their life. Watching students make progress, grow, and develop is what I enjoy the most.

Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns! I hope everyone has a wonderful 2021-2022 school year!
