Welcome 6th Grade Families! 

Ms. Haris is the 6th grade counselor. It is her fourth year as a school counselor and she is very excited to be at STM. Ms. Haris has a B.S. in Psychology and a M.Ed concentrated in School Counseling which she both obtained from George Mason University. In her free time, Ms. Haris likes to travel, hike, read and spend time with her cats. 

She will work very closely with students, their parents and other stakeholders to ensure academic, career, and personal/social success. She will be doing this by working with students individually, in small groups and in their classrooms. Furthermore, she schedules and attends parent-teacher conferences.
