Teacher Biography

 Hello! 

This is my fifth year at Freedom High School and I am so excited to spend the year getting to know my students. I attended Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) for both undergraduate and graduate school, where I received a B.A. in Professional Writing and an M.A. in Curriculum Design and Instruction. I will be teaching both English 9 and English 10 Honors.

I read, write, and play with my two (crazy) dogs and toddler when I am not at school. I am looking forward to an excellent fifth year at Freedom!

I will be out on maternity leave around mid-October through the end of January. My long term substitute's email is linked above, if needed.
