Mr. Rogers is in his fifth year of teaching, all at Tuscarora High School! He is the Dual Enrollment teacher through NOVA and loves providing opportunities for students to find fun and curiosity in history! Mr. Rogers graduated from Virginia Tech with an Undergraduate degree in History with a Master's in Education. Mr. Rogers has also taught World History II, USVA History, Personal Finance, and Economics.

In the classroom, Mr. Rogers is known to bring a lot of fun and maybe a little bit of weirdness into the classroom! From dressing up as characters from Hamilton to designing escape rooms to putting students in VR to experience WWI fighter planes, Mr. Rogers thinks that experience is the best teacher life has to offer!

When not in the classroom, Mr. Rogers enjoys video games, fishing, and most of all, Virginia Tech sports (LET'S GOO HOKIESSSS). Mr. Rogers is the head coach of the Tundra Gaming E-Sports team at Tuscarora, a four-time playoff bound and one-time state champion. He is also the sponsor of the Gaming Club and Chess clubs at THS. You can catch Mr. Rogers at any sporting event or fine arts program throughout the year at THS.
