Mrs. Chen

Welcome to my website. This is my 8^th year as an educator. Before joining LCPS, I have taught Geometry, Algebra 1 and all middle-school level math classes in a gifted private school. For the past few years, I have coached middle school MathCounts competition team.

I graduated from American University with a master's degree in Finance and International Business, and a bachelor's degree with Electrical Engineering. Prior to teaching, I had many roles in Finance and marketing industry.

I live in Ashburn with my lovely husband and two children. Grant is studying at Thomas Jefferson High School; Grace will be a proud 7^th grader. Other than teaching, I enjoy running, yoga, hiking and traveling around the world with family. Can’t wait for 3rd Marathon: 2019 Marine Corps Marathon.

I have always enjoyed teaching and learning; my mission is to inspire young minds to ask meaningful questions and love problem-solving.
