    Belinda Walker 
         Hi, my name is Belinda Walker and this is my 30th year in the education field.  I am currently the Department Chair for Special Education. I consider our department the best department at Heritage.  Our team works together to make sure our students get the best chance to be successful in their classes, with their social skills to make sure they find a place to belong, and their overall self-esteem and self-confidence to make sure they leave us as a  happy and well-rounded person to move on and have a terrific life.  
         I went to Glenville State College in Glenville, WV, where I received my  Bachelor degree, and also met my husband.  My degree is in Business Education (7-12)/Math Education (7-9).  I have taught Business and Math classes in middle school and high school settings.  I  also have a Specific Learning Disabilities License (K-12) from West Virginia University.
         I received a Masters degree from Shenandoah University in Education, Emphasis in Teaching/Specialization in Special Education.  I was just awarded my licensed endorsement in School Leadership and Administration from Shenandoah University last Spring. 
         I am so glad to be a part of the PRIDE.
