Welcome to 3rd Grade!

         My name is Mrs. Casler and I am thrilled to begin my fourth year as part of the Hillside Elementary School and this year with the third grade team. I have a Bachelor's in Music from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Masters in Music Education from the University of Rhode Island, and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from the American College of Education. My experience ranges from K-6 general music teacher, kindergarten, first grade, reading interventionist, and Montessori schools. We have been a military family for over 25 years and lived in several cities across the U.S. and internationally. These experiences have broadened and enhanced my view of cultures and approaches to education. My husband and I have five children ages 10, 17, 20, 21, and 23. In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping, sitting around the fire, reading, and playing games with my family.
