This is Mrs. Noland's first year at Sterling Middle School as a U.S. History/Special Education teacher in 7th grade. She is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She worked in the non-profit world as a case manager for women, children and adults with disabilities until she moved to Virginia eight years ago. She taught preschool part-time while managing her four children while they were little. She then decided to return to George Mason University to pursue a Master's degree in Special Education. Mrs. Noland's belief is that every child has a personal way of learning and educational strengths and she is excited to explore that this year with her students!
In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, attending sporting events, enjoying the outdoors and most especially vacationing in the summer! She likes to cook, read and snuggle with her dog!
