Hi! My name is Ritika Sharma. This will be my 1st year as an EL Teacher and my 8th year working at Loudoun County Public Schools. I received a Bachelor’s Degree from Lady Irwin College in New Delhi, India to become a nutritionist. This year, I received an endorsement in ESOL from Shenandoah University. Prior to this year, I worked as a substitute for 7 years, and last year, I started working as a full-time Kindergarten Teacher Assistant.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids, traveling, and reading.
As your child’s EL teacher, my goal is to help advance your child’s English language skills by focusing on four components of language: listening, speaking, reading, writing. I’m so excited to work with your child during the 2018-19 school year!
