Hi First Graders and Families!

My name is Mrs. Laird and I am very excited to start my third year teaching first grade at Liberty! I graduated from James Madison University with my Bachelors and Masters degree in Elementary Education. I live in Reston with my husband, we just got married this summer in the Outer Banks (you may formally know me as Ms. O'Connor). The Outer Banks is our favorite spot to vacation because I love the beach! I was also a gymnastics coach so I love being active and love to incorporate a lot of hands on learning in my classroom.

I love shopping, traveling, and reading. Here are a few more of my favorite things:
