Hi First Graders and Families!

My name is Mrs. Laird and I am very excited to start my sixth year teaching 1st Grade at Liberty! I graduated from James Madison University with my Bachelors and Masters degree in Elementary Education. I just moved to Leesburg with my husband. We love shopping and eating in downtown Leesburg! I am also the Freedom High School Gymnastics coach, so I like being active and incorporating a lot of hands on learning in my classroom! This fall I am getting anonther Masters degree in Literacy Leadership through George Mason, so I am excited to take what I learn and incorporate it into my classroom!

I love traveling, reading, and going to the beach! Here are a few more of my favorite things:
