My name is Katarina Hrutkay, and I will be teaching Math 6, Math 7, and Algebra 1 for the 2018/2019 school year. This is my 4th year working in Loudoun County Public Schools. Prior to coming to Farmwell Station MS, I worked at River Bend MS in Sterling. I graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare. After working part-time in social work and as a community counselor, I went back to school to become a teacher. I received my degree from Old Dominion University in Special Education K-12 with an endorsement in middle school math and Algebra 1. I live in Purcellville with my husband, son Lucas, daughter Lyvia, and 2 dogs. I enjoy going to my son’s soccer games and watching my daughter do cheerleading at football games. I am a big fan of the Steelers and Penguins.
