Mission Statement | At Potomac Falls, we value building relationships, working hard, amaking connections to ensure students are life, college and career ready.
A Little About Me | I began my career as a graphic artist, working for the Foreign Mission Board in Liberia, West Africa for two years and as a graphic designer for the Commonwealth of Virginia for seven years. Before coming to Potomac Falls, I taught art at Heritage High School for five years, 8th grade art for three years at Simpson Middle School. In Chesterfield County VA, I taught Special Education for five years at Gordon Elementary. My third year of teaching, I was named Teacher of the Year for Gordon Elementary.
I enjoy local, national and international travel and try to visit new places each year, affording me the opportunity to use my photography skills and gain new experiences within new cultures to bring back ideas to incorporate into my artwork and the artwork of my students within my classes. I also enjoy kayaking, hiking, reading and creating all kinds of art.
