Mission Statement | At Potomac Falls, we value building relationships, working hard, making connections to ensure students are life, college and career ready.
A Little About Me | I began my career as a graphic artist, working for the Foreign Mission Board in Liberia, West Africa and then as a graphic designer for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Before coming to Potomac Falls, I taught art at Heritage High School and Simpson Middle School. In Chesterfield County, VA, I taught Special Education at Gordon Elementary, where I was named Teacher of the Year my third year of teaching.
I enjoy local, national and international travel and try to visit new places each year, affording me the opportunity to use my photography skills and experiences within new cultures to bring back ideas to incorporate into my artwork and the lessons in my art classes. I also enjoy kayaking, hiking, gardening, reading and creating with many different art media.
