Dear FDES Stars,

I am so excited to be teaching music this year at your school! This will be my first year of teaching. I went to Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education. After college, I went to the UNC School of the Arts for my Master of Music degree in Flute Performance. I play both the flute and piano. In our music class, we will be moving around a lot and learning to have fun with musical concepts!

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my adorable puppy, baking delicious treats, and going for long hikes.

I can’t wait to spend the year exploring music together!
