Helene King

Hi - I'm happy to be here at Douglass and teaching your children!

I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in Media Arts. I later received a master’s degree in English and Linguistics from Texas A & M, and a master's degree in business from Wayland Baptist University in San Antonio, Texas.

I taught at SAISD, in conjunction with San Antonio College system, Dual Credit for many years and retired from that system. I also taught as an adjunct for Wayland Baptist University and The University of Texas (UTSA).

I worked as a commercial artist and photographer before I began a teaching career and I speak Spanish as well as English.
