Maura Barron teaches Integrated Science I & II, Environmental Research, and AP Chemistry in the Academy of Science program. She is also an alumna of the Academy of Science program.

 

Mrs. Barron recieved her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Christopher Newport University, where she performed research studying O-H bond angles within the aqueous core of reverse micelle aerosol particles. She also has industrial lab experience performing quality assurance testing on maritime construction materials in accordance with ASTM standards and evaluating the compliance of industrial sewage treatment methods in accordance with EPA standards.
