Background

I am excited to be entering my 4th year at Potomac Falls High School as a full-time faculty member of the Career & Technical Education (CTE) department!

For the 2021-2022 school year, I will be teaching Accounting and Personal Finance.

I have 19 years of full-time teaching experience at the high school level and 4 years of part-time teaching experience at the college level. At the high school level, I have taught Accounting, Personal Finance, Marketing, and Economics. At the college level, I have taught Accounting. I am also one of the co-advisors of PFHS's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter, a co-curricular club dedicated to leadership development and preparing students for a possible career in business.

Prior to my career switch to Education in 2000, I worked in various financial & accounting positions at Price Waterhouse, Sprint, Global One, and Teleglobe. I am a former CFO and CPA and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Accounting.

I am married, have 3 adult children, and live in Vienna, VA. I am a huge sports fan and have a passion for teaching high-school students all about the real world of business & finance!
