Degrees and Certifications:

Miss I.

Hello Parents and Guardians:

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! My name is Nicole Ibarra-Vogel (the students know me as Miss I.), and I am ecstatic to be a part of your child’s learning this year! This is my ninth year working in Loudoun County Public Schools. I have held various teaching assistant positions and have worked with a variety of unique and interesting individuals in high, middle, and elementary school settings. This will be my fourth year working at Sycolin Creek and I couldn’t have asked for a better school! I have also worked in Fredrick County Public Schools as an Instructional Aide for middle school students. I relocated from South Florida and have loved living in Northern Virginia. I hold an Associate of Arts degree from Palm Beach State College and graduated from Western Governors University with my Bachelor of Arts in Special Education degree and my Master’s degree in Instructional Design.

I am looking forward to being your child’s Resource teacher and building a positive, supportive, and thriving relationship with both you and your child. My goal is to help your child succeed and reach for the stars! I am eager to work to continuously support your child, so they can learn new concepts, master ones they already know, and continue to grow. I believe a strong partnership between school and home makes for a successful year!

Please communicate any questions you may have to me. I look forward to working with you and your child this school year! Go Salamanders!

Nicole Ibarra-Vogel
