Ciao (Hello), my name is Michael Weinheimer and I am thrilled to be a part of the fifth-grade team at Pinebrook Elementary, GO PUMAS! This is my second year teaching 5th grade here at Pinebrook.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (Photography) from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). I recently completed a Master’s degree in Elementary Education at Marymount University (MU) 2018. I hail from Northern Virginia.

In my spare time I like to read, go to the movies, cook, and make things using tools. I enjoy traveling to new places. In college, I did a study abroad trip to Peru. This summer I spent a week in Grey Eagle, California to celebrate my borthers wedding and I went to many Nationals baseball games.

I believe new experiences are the backbone for and provide excitement in learning and I believe in the importance of education for all!
