Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Stacie Holzberger
I am beginning my 20th year of teaching and my third year with Loudoun County Public Schools. I began my teaching career with Rockingham County Public Schools, also in Virginia, as an English 7/8 teacher and Theater I/II teacher. I also served as the English department chair, English curriculum leader, and the school mentor for my original school. I taught English 8/Honors English 8 here at River Bend my first year with LCPS, and I'm returning after spending a year helping to open Willard Intermediate. I am excited to return to River Bend and to be here with the staff, parents, and students in this community! This year I will be teaching English 8 and Honors English 8.
I live in Charles Town, WV, with my husband and four daughters who keep me very busy when I am not at school. We can usually be found at one of the local sporting events, cheering on the Washington Nationals, the Washington Caps, or the Maryland Terrapins. If we're not at a sporting event, we also love heading to the nearest country music concert! My absolute favorite activities would have to be reading and heading to the beach or lake! I can't wait to share my love of reading (and writing) with my students this year!
