Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Stacie Holzberger
I am beginning my 19th year of teaching and my second year with Loudoun County Public Schools. I began my teaching career with Rockingham County Public Schools, also in Virginia, as an English 7/8 teacher and Theater I/II teacher. I also served as the English department chair, English curriculum leader, and the school mentor for my original school. My first year with Loudoun was last year at River Bend Middle School. I am excited to now join and help open Willard Intermediate School and to get to know the staff, parents, and students in this community! This year I will be teaching English 8 and Honors English 8 and will also serve as a mentor teacher.
I live in Charles Town, WV, with my husband and four daughters who keep me very busy when I am not at school. We can usually be found at one of the local sporting events, cheering on the Washington Nationals, the Washington Caps, or the Maryland Terrapins. My absolute favorite activities would have to be reading and heading to the nearest beach! I can't wait to share my love of reading (and writing) with my students this year!
